According to intelligence sources, the Sikhs for Justice (SFJ) leader is getting funding from the ISI, some money from innocent youths, and some donations in the name of war. He has made many gurdwaras of the UK, US, and Canada breeding grounds for anti-India sentiments and, according to witnesses, ISI operatives are regular visitors here
Sikhs for Justice (SFJ) leader Gurpatwant Singh Pannun is running an immigration racket and, looking at his strategy, Pakistan’s spy agency ISI is also in touch with him, top intelligence sources told CNN-News18 on Friday.
“Initially he kept on denying his association with them but he later came out openly in London with Pakistan high commission’s Kashmir Day event,” said a source. “His idea is to instigate the youth of Punjab born after 1984 against India and atrocities on the Sikh community.”
Many youths from Punjab want to migrate to Canada, the United Kingdom, and the United States and Pannun is using them as free labour in protests against India, said the sources.
“His idea is to attack below the belt, attack leaders, the map and flag of India,” a source said. “This is a plan of the ISI and it was decided in a meeting that Pakistan never won any war against India in 1965, 1971, or 1999, and spent huge amounts of money. Just spending 20,000 USD on this propaganda war against India on Pannun is getting them big results.”
According to the sources, Pannun is getting funding from the ISI, some money from innocent youths, and some donations in the name of war.
He has made many gurdwaras of the UK, US, and Canada breeding grounds for anti-India sentiments and, according to witnesses, ISI operatives are regular visitors here.
“He creates fake numbers at referendums in Canada. On September 10 there were only 2,300 votes and on October 29 only 2,000 votes, which he said last time was 13,5000 and yesterday 2 lakhs,” said a source.
This serves the ISI’s purpose in India as well, the sources said. “In the name of spoilt sentiments, they create overground workers in border areas and send drugs and weapons through drones regularly, which is a major source of earning for junior ISI officials,” a source added.
As CNN-News18 has already reported, intelligence sources said Pannun is a US citizen who is misusing his access in the UK and Canada. He is responsible for acts of terrorism in multiple countries. The evidence of money being transferred from the UK and Canada for killing Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) leaders has already been placed.
Pannun and SFJ are known for insulting the Indian flag and have even threatened diplomats in front of local police of all three countries but faced no action, said the sources.
He is named as an accused by the Investigation Agency (NIA) in multiple cases.
“We will take this to all international forums because a handful of people are involved in this and Sikhs are very happy in India,” added a source.
