Thousands of demonstrators marched in Washington, DC on Saturday, demanding the impeachment, conviction, and removal of US President Donald Trump in one of the largest anti-Trump protests in recent months.
The event, branded “Remove the Regime" and organised by grassroots network Removal Coalition, drew crowds to the Mall, where political leaders, activists and artists urged Congress to act against Trump.
The rally included performances by the Dropkick Murphys and musician Earth to Eve before protesters set off on a march through central Washington.
This latest protest comes during a record-setting year for US demonstrations amid growing discontent throughout the administration.
Last month, over 7 million people took part in the “No Kings" protests, held amid what later became a record-breaking government shutdown.
