Former Pakistan Prime Minister Imran Khan has spoken to his sons over the phone following directions from the Chief Justice of Pakistan, his sister Aleema Khan confirmed in a post on X.

According to her, the Chief Justice had ordered that Imran Khan be allowed to communicate with his children. She said the conversation lasted approximately 20 minutes.

“We can confirm that Imran Khan was able to speak with them for approximately 20 minutes," she wrote.

Aleema Khan added that her nephews told the family that the former prime minister was “extremely happy" to hear their voices after a long gap.

In her statement, she also raised concerns about Khan’s health, particularly his eyesight. She said the family is awaiting his urgent medical treatment at Shifa Hospital in Islamabad under the supervision of his personal doctors.

Khan’s sister alleged that delays in providing timely medical care have already caused damage to his vision.

Imran Khan has been in custody since his arrest in connection with multiple cases. His legal team and family have repeatedly raised concerns about his health and access to medical treatment.
