All India Majlis-e-Ittehadul Muslimeen (AIMIM) MP Asaduddin Owaisi on Sunday condemned Pakistan over terrorism, stating that terrorists in Jammu and Kashmir’s Pahalgam justified the killing of innocent people by asking their religion.
Owaisi, part of the all-party delegation led by BJP MP Baijayant Panda that arrived in Manama, Bahrain yesterday, referred to Pakistan as a “failed state" during an interaction with prominent figures.
“These terrorist organisations have justified killings of innocent people in India and they have out of context quoted Quranic verses…we have to put an end to it. They have used religion to justify the killing of people. Islam condemns terrorism and the Quran has categorically stated that the killing of one innocent person is like killing of whole humankind," said Owaisi.
