Russian President Vladimir Putin said that Russian-made weapons are “proving their worth" in real combat, not just in testing conditions. He said this growing performance is driving international demand.
The Russian President made these remarks in a televised address on Friday.
“Russia remains to be one of the top five suppliers of weapons and remains leader in many sub-sectors. This is yet another demonstrations of the effectiveness and reliability of our weapons. The interest to our products is growing and we understand why," Putin stated.
He added that nearly the entire range of Russian military equipment—from radar systems and UAVs to armoured vehicles—is proving its worth on the battlefield.
“Nearly the entire range of Russian products, from radar systems to UAV to armours are proving their worth in combat and not only on the testing grounds. They are showing what they are capable of," the Russian President added.
