Jagjit Singh arrived in Canada on a temporary visa to see his grandchild in July.
A 51-year-old Indian man named Jagjit Singh will be deported from Canada after being convicted in a case of sexual harassment. Singh, who arrived in the country in July on a temporary visa to see his newborn grandchild, forcefully tried to communicate with teenage girls in the smoking area of a high school in Sarnia.
Despite constant refusals, the man did not listen to the girls and insisted on taking pictures. He forcefully sat between the two girls, gesturing for another photo. After another photo was taken, he put his hand around the body of the girl, who felt uncomfortable with the gesture, and pushed him away, as reported by the Canadian publication, Toronto Sun.
