iOS 18.3 update came out recently and now Apple has offered a quick iOS 18.3.1 version that promises fixing some issues.
The iOS 18.3.1 update is now available for iPhone users.
While most of you still wait for the iOS 18.4 beta version, Apple has released the iOS 18.3.1 update this week for iPhone users that you can install for your device right away. The iOS 18.3 update came out a few weeks back and going by the previous schedule, the .1 update seems like a quick fix to improve some issues and maybe handle certain security concerns.
The iOS 18.3 update was the third installment from Apple that offered new AI features like visual intelligence on select iPhone models and also disabled a tool that was making big errors.

The iOS 18.3.1 update can be downloaded by iPhone users who have already installed the iOS 18.3 version in the last few weeks. Apple’s update note only says, “This update provides important bug fixes and is recommended for all users," which suggests you shouldn’t expect to see any new features with the version.
As expected, the iOS 18.3.1 update doesn’t come with a detailed feature log which effectively means your iPhone security issues will be primarily the focus of this update and Apple is offering a quick fix for the possible risks. The update comes with a download size of around 650MB which is not the biggest that Apple generally rolls out but it does indicate some big improvements are bundled in this package.

– Go to Settings on your iPhone
– Click on General and tap on Software update
– You will see a new update version pop-up
– Authenticate the download with your passcode
– The device will reboot with the iOS 18.3.1 version
As the new security update is issued by Apple this week, we are still waiting for the iOS 18.4 beta version 1 that promises a host of Siri AI upgrades. That’s not all, the upcoming iOS 18 update will also make the Apple AI features compatible with more regions, including India.
