Israel claims attack by Yemen's Houthis, says missiles intercepted

Sirens blared across southern Israel on Tuesday evening following the launch of a projectile fire from Yemen, as per Israel Defence Forces "X" handle.

According to the Israel Defence Forces (IDF), the missile was intercepted by the Israeli Air Force before it could enter Israeli airspace. Residents reported witnessing the interception in the skies, while emergency services confirmed no physical injuries but treated several individuals for anxiety-related symptoms, as reported by Israel Hayom.

This development comes after Israeli airstrike on Gaza on Tuesday which led to to the death of more than 400 people. The attacks struck multiple locations, including Gaza City, Deir al-Balah, Khan Younis, and Rafah, marked the most intense Israeli. So far, this is the most intense bombardment since the truce took effect.
