Israel-Iran War News Today Live Updates: Following a joint missile strike by Israel and the United States on Iran on February 28, tensions have heightened in West Asia, with Tehran targeting American military bases in the region. In the joint strikes, Iran’s Supreme Leader, Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, was killed along with his daughter, grandchild, daughter-in-law, and son-in-law. Thereafter, Iran launched attacks on the United Arab Emirates, Dubai, Beirut and Oman, further widening the conflict.

The UAE has strongly condemned Iranian missile attacks targeting both the UAE and the “sisterly” Sultanate of Oman, calling them a “dangerous escalation” and announcing the immediate closure of its embassy in Tehran along with the withdrawal of its ambassador and diplomatic staff. The UAE also announced the closure of its embassy in Tehran and the withdrawal of its ambassador and all members of its diplomatic mission from the Islamic Republic of Iran.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Sunday spoke with UAE President Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan and strongly condemned Iranian attacks on the Gulf country and condoled the loss of lives. “Spoke with President of the UAE, my brother Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan.
