The Israeli Air Force carried out a strike inside Iran, according to two sources familiar with the operation — marking a dramatic escalation in Middle East tensions and a direct attack on Israel’s most formidable adversary, Axios reported.
Explosions were reported northeast of Tehran in the early hours of Friday, Iranian state-run Nour News confirmed, adding that “the reasons were not immediately clear.”
