Israeli Foreign Minister Gideon Saar on Tuesday said the government was not seeking “an endless war" with Iran and will work with the US on when to end the hostilities.
“We will consult with our American friends when we will think it is the right time to do that. We are not looking for an endless war," Saar told reporters in Jerusalem.
Meanwhile, Iranian officials said that they will determine how long this war will go on. Al Jazeera quoted them saying that Iran’s army is ready for a war of attrition, a long-term confrontation.

Pentagon chief Pete Hegseth said on Tuesday – the 11th day of ongoing Iran war – will be the “most intense" of American attacks.
Hegseth, the US Defense Secretary, said attacks on Iran will ramp up with the heaviest strikes. “We will not stop till the enemy is totally defeated. In the last 24 hours, Iran has fired the lowest number of missiles. The US will not relent till Iran is totally defeated," he told a news conference at the Pentagon. “Today will be yet again our most intense day of strikes inside Iran."

General Dan Caine, chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, said at the same news conference that the US military is moving into the 11th day of its operation against Iran.
Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, meanwhile, said “we are breaking their bones" and said the war’s aim is a popular overthrow of Iran’s current regime.
“Our aim is to bring the Iranian people to cast off the yoke of tyranny; ultimately, it depends on them," Netanyahu said.
On Monday (March 9), however, US President Donald Trump sent contradictory signals about the duration of the war, causing wild swings in the already-volatile financial and fuel markets.

Iranian Parliament Speaker Mohammad Bagher Qalibaf dismissed any suggestion that Tehran has sought a ceasefire.
Iran continued its attack on Gulf countries, as Qatar intercepted a missile attack. The defence ministry warned the public to stay inside in the afternoon out of concern for an incoming strike. Also, the United Arab Emirates said its air defences had been activated to intercept incoming fire from Iran.
Earlier, Iranian security official Ali Larijani threatened Trump, who claimed to hit Tehran “TWENTY TIMES HARDER" if they stopped oil flowing through the Strait of Hormuz.
“The sacrificial nation of Iran doesn’t fear your empty threats. Even those bigger than you couldn’t eliminate Iran. Be careful not to get eliminated yourself," Larijani said.
