Kalpataru Projects Ltd on Tuesday, March 25, said the company and its international subsidiaries won orders worth around ₹2,366 crore.
These include orders in the transmission and distribution business in India and overseas and an order in the buildings and factories business in India.
With the new orders, the company's order intake for FY25 has reached 24,850 crore, so far, Manish Mohnot, the MD and CEO said. "Our transmission and department book continues to grow on the back of rising power demand, rapid expansion of renewable energy and focus on improvement of T&D infrastructure," he said.
Mohnot added that the order in the buildings and factories business is a repetitive one from an existing client.
The company reported a 0.7% increase in its December quarter net profit at ₹142 crore from ₹141 crore in the year-ago period. Its revenue increased 17.1% to ₹5,732.5 crore from last year's ₹4,895.8 crore. The company's EBITDA rose 13.3% to ₹479.3 crore from ₹423.2 crore in the previous year. Its EBITDA margin contracted to 8.4% from the previous year's 8.6%.
The stock was trading 2.3% higher at ₹1,003 apiece. It has declined 23.7% this year, so far.
