Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Sunday launched a blistering attack against the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP), saying that the current Delhi government has turned into an “AAPda (Disaster)" for the city.
He exuded confidence in winning the forthcoming Delhi Assembly elections, scheduled to be held before February 2025. “Have faith that lotus will bloom in Delhi polls," the PM said.
Addressing a public meeting in Delhi’s Rohini, PM Modi said that the development of Delhi plays a crucial role in achieving the target of Viksit Bharat by 2047. “We need to develop Delhi as the capital of the ‘Viksit Bharat’. Therefore, I have come here to urge people to give BJP one chance," PM Modi said.
