On election day, Kamble’s car was targeted by three individuals on two motorcycles near Ashok Sugar Mills. However, according to a police spokesman, Kamble and the car were not struck by the bullets.
On Kamble’s complaint, the Ahilyanagar district’s Shrirampur Police filed an FIR against unnamed individuals under the applicable provisions of the Bharatiya Nyay Sanhita (BNS), the officer said.
