After US–Israeli strikes on Iran and Ayatollah Ali Khamenei's death, protesters in Karachi stormed the U.S. Consulate entrance.

Amid the coordinated US-Israeli strikes against Iran and the subsequent death of Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, protesters in Pakistan’s Karachi gathered outside the U.S. Consulate and stormed parts of its entrance area.
Visuals of the incident surfaced on social media, showing a mob vandalising the entrance area of the consulate. They reportedly set parts of the building ablaze.
Earlier in the day, Iranian state media confirmed the killing of their Supreme Leader, Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, in the US-Israeli strikes. The Iranian government has announced a 40-day mourning following the death of the Ayatollah.
Meanwhile, protesters also gathered outside the US Embassy in the Iraqi capital of Baghdad, as tensions soared in the Middle East amid the renewed military confrontation.

Demonstrators accused Washington of fueling instability in the Middle East, demanding an end to foreign military involvement in the region.
PROTESTS IN J-K
Protests also erupted in Jammu and Kashmir’s Ramban, with demonstrators burning effigies of US President Donald Trump.

Syed Samar Kazmi, Shia Community leader, condemned the killing of Khamenei, claiming the Iranian leader was killed by the US and Israel by deception.
“This is not the first time we have lost a leader, but we will not forget the death of our beloved leader. We will convey to our generations how America and Israel killed our leader by deception… A part of Muslims has always been on the path of the beloved leader and always said that we will always raise our voice for the oppressed… He was killed only because he raised his voice for the killings in Palestine while the world was silent…" he told news agency ANI.

The coordinated US-Israeli strikes began Saturday as negotiations over Tehran’s nuclear programme faltered, with the Middle East plunging into a renewed military confrontation.
