State-owned Navratna PSU NBCC (India) Ltd. on Monday, January 5, said it has received work orders worth approximately ₹134.05 crore, according to a regulatory filing.


The orders, received in the ordinary course of business, include a ₹45.87-crore contract from Maharaja Sriram Chandra Bhanja Deo University, Odisha, for construction, repair and renovation works at the university’s campus in Baripada, Mayurbhanj district, under the PM-USHA scheme.


NBCC has also secured an ₹88.18-crore order from the Odisha School Programme Authority, Bhubaneswar, for the implementation of civil works under the Godabarisha Mishra Adarsha Prathamika Vidyalaya Scheme.


Both contracts have been awarded by domestic entities and involve project management consultancy services, the company said. The work orders are part of NBCC’s regular business operations and will be executed in accordance with the terms specified by the respective clients.


Earlier on December 31, NBCC (India) Ltd said it had secured three domestic orders worth about ₹220.31 crore. The largest order, valued at ₹163.12 crore, was awarded by Canara Bank for planning, designing and executing the construction of its head office at Manyata Tech Park in Bengaluru. The remaining orders came from Navodaya Vidyalaya Samiti, including a ₹9.01 crore contract for a boys’ dormitory in Maharashtra and a ₹48.18 crore order for developing a permanent campus in Telangana.


Shares of NBCC (India) Ltd. ended lower on Monday, January 5, by 2.46% at ₹119.65 on the NSE.
