The NDA on Thursday authorised Prime Minister Narendra Modi and BJP national president JP Nadda to pick the vice presidential candidate for the ruling alliance.
The Democratic Alliance (NDA), led by the BJP, held a meeting following which it decided that Modi and Nadda should finalise the candidate for the vice president.
A day before the voting for the Vice President of India, the NDA will hold another big meeting on September 8.
