As soon as the couple deboarded the aircraft, Melania was spotted eagerly accepting a kiss on the cheek from Governor Newsom- a moment that quickly went viral with wild rumors circulating online.
The encounter occurred after a brief interaction between Trump and Newsom, where they engaged in a series of strange handshakes before approaching reporters.
“I have all the expectations we’re going to be able to work together," Newsom said during the brief interaction they had at LAX. Trump responded, saying, “We’re going to get it fixed." Trump expressed gratitude to Newsom for greeting him on the tarmac during his visit to Los Angeles.
This comes after the First Lady was accused of dodging a kiss from her husband at inauguration. However, many claim that this was due to her hat being too big.
Melania wore a striking hat on her California visit as well, but she seemed to take the California Governor’s kiss without any hesitation.
