Sensex Today | Stock Market LIVE Updates: The Nifty index has reached the day's high with rise of over 70 points, hitting the 24,750 mark. Jio Fin, L&T, and Bharti Airtel are among the gainers.
Nifty 50 LIVE Updates: The Indian markets are trading in green, with the Nifty index trading around 24,700. As the markets look to recover from the previous decline, the Sensex has fallen below the 81,000 mark.
Some of the big gainers at the Nifty end include Jio Finance, JSW Steel, and IndusInd Bank. While BEL, Wipro, and Eternal are among the losers.
Nifty Bank is trading with a decline of over 60 points.
The broader markets have marked a minor recovery compared to the day's start, as the Nifty smallcap and Midcap indices are trading in green with gains of just under 0.1%
When it comes to stock reaction to results, Mazagon Dock is trading with a decline of 4%, while Torrent Pharma and IndusInd Bank are trading in green.
Varun Beverages announced its results, wherein it witnessed a rise in its net profit figures.
Some of the biggest movers in terms of higher-than-average volume exchange amongst the Nifty 500 stocks are Go Digit, Tata Chemicals, Five Star, EID Parry and Waaree Energy.
As we move further in the day, some of the stocks, like Asian Paints, L&T, Amber Enterprises, Bank of India, are some stocks reporting results that remain in focus. The June 13 low of 24,473 now holds the key for the Nifty, even if it's still 200 points away.
