US Secretary Marco Rubio urges rebuilding Gaza for lasting peace, warning that without a clear plan, violence may return.

US Secretary Marco Rubio said there is only one workable solution for Gaza — rebuilding the territory in a way that prevents future conflict and suffering.

Speaking during the Board of Peace, Rubio warned that failure to agree on a clear path forward could push Gaza back into violence. He stressed that military confrontation cannot be an alternative.

“We have to get this right. There is no plan B for Gaza. Plan B is going back to war. No one here wants that."

He said the objective must be a long-term arrangement that ensures stability for civilians and avoids repeated cycles of destruction.
