Tech billionaire Elon Musk’s mother Maye Musk on Sunday shared the result of Computer Aptitude test of the former that he undertook at the age of 17 years.

Taking to X, Elon’s mother shared the image of the document and wrote, " While sorting through photos, I came across computer aptitude test results of @elonmusk at 17. My genius boy. Proud mom.(sic)"

Soon after the Tesla CEO responded saying that the examiners believed his grades were exceptional as they had “never seen" such scores before.

Replying to Maye’s post, Elon wrote," They said I scored the highest for engineering aptitude that they had ever seen. Or, in other words, not bad for a human, as a future AI might say.(sic)."

The result, issued by the University of Pretoria back in May 17, 1989, was termed “outstanding".

Signed by JLM Wiechers, director of information management at the university, the document revealed that Musk had scored A+ in both Operating Systems and Programming.

According to media reports, Musk got into Queen’s University in Kingston, Ontario in 1990, a few months after studying at the University of Pretoria.

The aptitude test provides a glimpse into the SpaceX boss’s early life abilities.
