OnePlus Nord 5 and Nord CE 5 along with the OnePlus Buds 4 were announced in the Indian market earlier this week. But the company had a global launch event at the same time, where we saw more products unveiled that sadly might not be coming to India.

We already know about three of them being the Nord 5, Nord CE 5 and the Buds 4 TWS earbuds. But as the official teaser for the global event showed OnePlus two more products.

OnePlus Nord 5 Global Event: Two More Devices Announced

OnePlus had a new tablet and a smartwatch variant lining up alongside the phones and the earbuds. The OnePlus Pad Lite and the OnePlus Watch 3 models have made their way to the global market this week. The OnePlus Watch 3 made its debut in February and now it is getting a smaller 43mm version. These two products will be made available in the US while the rest of the OnePlus devices will come to Europe and India.

The OnePlus Watch 3 was highly expected to reach other regions like its predecessor, the Watch 2 series (and the 2R) but the company decided against launching it in India.

“We are dedicated to providing our India community with the best of our OnePlus technology. While the OnePlus Watch 3 isn’t launching in India at this time, we are carefully assessing the market to ensure we deliver the most impactful and relevant products for the region," OnePlus said in a statement.

The pricing of the Watch 3 might have been a big reason for OnePlus skipping the Indian market but that’s not the only product which the company has skipped launching in 2025. OnePlus feels that it has to focus on making products that set a new benchmark, and for some reason it says foldables will not be part of that strategy.

“We’ve carefully considered the timing and our next steps in foldable devices, and we have made the decision not to release a foldable this year. While this may come as a surprise, we believe this is the right approach for us at this time."
