Security Adviser (NSA) Ajit Doval has raised concerns about terror finance, counterterrorism, and Khalistan with the Five Eyes alliance, top intelligence sources told CNN-News18 on Tuesday.

This occurred in a separate meeting held during the Raisina Dialogue, where intelligence chiefs from 25 countries met in India.

Sources say these topics are part of broader talks on counterterrorism and intelligence sharing. This marks the first time a specific mention of pro-Khalistan elements operating from foreign soil has been made.

Five Eyes is an international intelligence alliance comprising the US, UK, New Zealand, Australia, and Canada. Three of the Five Eyes members—US Director of Intelligence Tulsi Gabbard, UK’s Security Adviser Jonathan Powell, and New Zealand’s intelligence chief Andrew Hampton—are in New Delhi for the three-day Raisina Dialogue summit.

During this event, NSA Ajit Doval chaired a separate conference of global intelligence chiefs. This included representatives from the Five Eyes alliance.

This meeting also focused on enhancing cooperation to counterterror activities and disrupt funding networks from Pakistan’s ISI. The aim was also to address the activities of Khalistani separatists, particularly in the Five Eyes countries. These countries have very significant Sikh diaspora populations, especially in Canada and the UK.

This meeting also covered broader topics like immigration.
