Pakistan’s intelligence agency ISI is continuing its ‘disappear and dump’ policy in Balochistan, according to top intelligence sources.
Seven Baloch persons have gone missing in Kech, Mastung and Panjgur areas of Pakistan’s Balochistan, local sources told News18.
Who are they?
Haji Munir Ahmed, Majid, Abbas and Mehran have gone missing for the past few days, their family claimed.
Munir Ahmed and Majid were detained on Wednesday in Chitkaan area of Panjgur. Police didn’t show their arrest and refused to file a First Information Report (FIR), claimed relatives.
Atta Anjum has gone missing from Mastung district; Changiz Imam was abducted and disappeared from Kech District of Balochistan, said sources.
Waseem, Zaheer, Abbas and Mehran went missing on Saturday evening from Buleda and Kech areas.
Pakistan’s operation
Pakistan security forces are conducting intelligence-based operations (IBOs) against Baloch freedom fighters who are raising voices against Pakistan military’s atrocities in Balochistan, said sources.
Since July 2025, around 320 cases of enforced disappearances have been registered, claims Human Rights Council of Balochistan.
Around 145 killings happened in fake encounters and IBOs in Balochistan since July 2025, according to Human Rights Council Of Balochistan.
Around 2600 cases of enforced disappearances were reported in Balochistan from 2011 to 2024, according to Amnesty and Pak government’s statistics.
After the attack on Jaffer Express in March 2025 and Khuzdar Army Public School in May 2025, the Pakistan security forces are conducting major operations against Baloch indigenous persons, Baloch freedom fighters like BLA & BLF rapidly.
What intel sources say
The Pakistan Military has blocked the access of international watchdogs, press and NGOs in Balochistan to hide the actuals facts and figures, said sources.
“In Balochistan, several Baloch youths have reportedly been disappeared by Pakistani forces and groups said to be state-supported death squads. When the families hold peaceful sit-in protests for their missing loved ones, members of these state-supported groups call them terrorists, even though they have done nothing wrong," said sources.
“They are only protesting to demand information and the return of their missing family members," they said.
