Russian President Vladimir Putin has set a new condition before negotiations with US President Donald Trump. He insisted that all arms deliveries to Ukraine be halted during the 30-day ceasefire proposed by US President Donald Trump, a Bloomberg News report said.

The Kremlin said the two leaders will speak on Tuesday evening (IST). Putin wishes to end arms supplies to Ukraine from the US and Europe, but his priority is to end US aid to Ukraine.

This request has caused concerns that Ukraine might be left vulnerable to Russian attacks, as there are no such restrictions for Russian military operations.

Reports have confirmed that Putin's main condition is an end to Western arms deliveries, particularly from the U.S.

Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov said the call will take place between 4 p.m. and 6 p.m. Moscow time.

This is a developing story.
