Xiaomi has upgraded its Redmi Pad SE tablet with 4G support and introduced the Redmi Pad Pro version with 5G connectivity.

Xiaomi has launched the new Redmi Pad SE 4G variant along with the new Redmi Pad Pro 5G model in the Indian market this week. The Pro variant carries a bigger screen and other feature upgrades that cost you more than the Redmi Pad SE 4G which now supports connectivity via SIM data. Xiaomi is also bringing the HyperOS version to these tablets out of the box, and you get a fast-charging battery in tow.

Redmi Pad Pro 5G And Redmi Pad SE 4G Price In India

Redmi Pad Pro is available in both Wi-Fi only and 5G data models, priced at Rs 21,999 and Rs 24,999 for the base variants, respectively. Redmi Pad SE 4G gets a starting price of Rs 10,999 and you have a higher storage variant. Redmi Pad Pro will be available from August 2 while the Redmi Pad SE 4G sale starts from August 8 in the country.

Redmi Pad Pro 5G And Redmi Pad SE 4G Features

Redmi Pad Pro 5G gets a 12.1-inch display that offers 2.5K resolution and supports 120Hz refresh rate with a 600 nits of peak brightness. It is powered by the Snapdragon 7s Gen 2 chipset with up to 8GB RAM and 256GB storage which you can expand further. The tablet has an 8MP front and rear camera which takes care of both the needs. It packs a massive 10,000mAh battery which supports 33W charging speed.

The Redmi Pad SE 4G version features the same display, hardware and battery as the regular model and now you get these tablets with HyperOS based on Android 14 out of the box.

We are seeing a flurry of Android tablets entering the country recently. OnePlus upgraded to the Pad 2 model in the flagship arena, while the likes of Samsung are going to join the ranks in the coming months as well. It is also good to have 4G and 5G tablets make their way to the market, giving people the choice to use these devices for on-the-go purposes.
