The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) released its election manifesto on Friday for the Delhi Assembly polls. Party’s president JP Nadda unveiled the “Sankalp Patra" at the party office in the national capital.
Addressing the press conference, Nadda announced that all the ongoing public welfare schemes will continue if the BJP comes to power.
“All the schemes which are running in Delhi will continue under BJP in Delhi. We will eliminate all scopes of corruption on which the AAPda party thrives," Nadda said.
“We made 500 promises in 2014, we delivered 499. In 2019, we made 235, we completed 225. The rest were also on the stage of implementation," he added while detailing the track record of the saffron party.
Main Focus On Women
Nadda highlighted the work done by the BJP governments in various states and said that the empowerment of women has been the party’s priority.
“Women has been our main priority. Ujwala Yojana, toilets under Swaccha Bharat. In Maharashtra and MP we are giving monthly Mahila Samaan," he said.
