US Secretary of State Marco Rubio accused Hamas of blocking vital relief efforts in Gaza, saying the group is stealing humanitarian supplies meant for civilians.
In a post on X, Rubio wrote, “Hamas continues to deprive the people of Gaza of the humanitarian aid they desperately need. This theft undermines international efforts in support of President Trump’s 20 Point Plan to deliver critical assistance to innocent civilians."
Calling Hamas “the impediment," Rubio urged the group to disarm and stop obstructing aid. “They must lay down their arms and stop their looting so that Gaza can have a brighter future," he added.

He also attached a video of the Pentagon’s Central Command pointing to Hamas members suspected of stealing food from a truck with aid.
Rubio’s remarks come amid ongoing efforts to get aid into the enclave as civilians face severe shortages.
Earlier, on October 29, reports indicated that Israel and Hamas acknowledged the need for a cease-fire in the Gaza Strip. Qatar has been working to broker an understanding between the sides and is pushing to persuade Hamas to lay down its arms.
