Samsung has started its big teaser ahead of CES 2026 in Las Vegas next month and the company is going to showcase its new appliances and smart TVs at the event. Micro RGB is the new toy in the market and even though Samsung unveiled a big screen version of this model, the company is bringing more screen options that will be part of the CES 2026 lineup in January.

The new technology is catering to the premium lineup for Samsung and other brands but gradually we should see it make its way down the price ladder, similar to the evolution of OLED and QLED TVs in the last few years.

Samsung Micro RGB Lineup: How Is It Different From QLED?

RGB is the new technology that brands have developed for TVs to project different colours on the big screen. The regular LEDs do it with white or blue LEDs filters but RGB means you get a more vibrant colour setup which enhances the viewing experience.

Samsung unveiled the product with a 115-inch Micro RGB TV last year and 2026 will have the company bringing the more manageable screen sizes from 55-inch up to 100-inches. The brand has not disclosed its launch prices for these TVs but a 2026 debut is well and truly on the radar.

This is a big change in the Micro RGB arena because most of the TVs launched so far have focused on the big screen sizes, well over 75-inches. Samsung bringing it for smaller display sizes suggest the tech is quickly advancing.

Samsung claims the Micro RGB panel delivers cleaner tones, and better details in challenging lighting conditions. There is also a better way to handle the brightness and colour tones of the TV.

Samsung is offering the AI processor on these TVs that brings features to remove motion blur and upscaling content quality in real time. The company also brings its AI suite including voice search through Bixby, live translation for movies and support for the Perplexity AI model.
