Sensex Today | Stock Market LIVE Updates: Even as the Nifty remains in a range, the base has moved higher with supports shifting towards the 23,500 mark. The first level on the upside will be 23,800, followed by the 20-DMA level around the 24,000 mark.
Sensex Today | Stock Market LIVE Updates: The Nifty enters this truncated week on the back of rising optimism of a US-Iran deal, which has sent crude oil prices tumbling lower. Brent crude is now trading below the mark of $100 a barrel. Cues from Wall Street will be absent today as US markets will be shut. Over the last seven sessions, the Nifty has closed between the 23,600 - 23,700 zone.
Even as the Nifty remains in a range, the base has moved higher with supports shifting towards the 23,500 mark. The first level on the upside will be 23,800, followed by the 20-DMA level around the 24,000 mark.
With Tuesday being a holiday, today will be the monthly expiry of the NSE contract. The Nifty Bank has also closed above the mark of 54,000, which is the higher end of the trading range. Earnings reactions today come from Hindalco, NTPC, Eicher Motors, Colgate-Palmolive, Divi's Labs, while companies like NBCC, Suzlon, RVNL, BlueJet Healthcare report results today.
