Sensex Today | Stock Market LIVE Updates: The markets are trading on a cautious note as the Nifty index is down over 30 points. The index is around 26,000. The Nifty bank index is also up over 50 points, rising to the 59,100 mark. Tata Steel, Eternal, Hindalco, Tata Motors PV, and JSW Steel are among the major gainers.

Sensex Today | Stock Market LIVE Updates: The Nifty is up over 30 points, trading around 26,100 as the Indian markets remain and trade on a cautious note. Volumes are expected to dwindle further as the year draws to a close. The Sensex is also trading on a similar note, and is trading with an uptick of close to 70 points, above the 85,100 mark.
As for the Nifty, on the upside, 26,200 - 26,300 remains a barrier for the index, and despite crossing those levels twice last week, the index could not sustain above that.
The Nifty Bank index is under pressure, compared to the other indices, as the index fell over 150 points from the day's high to turn red.
Among the Nifty 500 stocks, some of the major losers include Asahi India, IRFC, RVNL, Jupiter Wagons, Rites, Anant Raj, Cyient, and Syrma among others.
