Sensex Today | Stock Market LIVE Updates: After overcoming volatility, the markets are now on the rise. The Nifty is trading around 26,100, with a rise of around 100 points. The Sensex index is also trading in a constructive space, with an uptick of around 300 points, moving around 85,400. The Indian Rupee remains in focus after hitting a fresh low of 90.42 against the US dollar.
Sensex Today | Stock Market LIVE Updates: The expiry day session is showing glimpses of volatility, as the indices move between red and green. The Nifty index, after recovering from initial lows, is now up around 50 points, with the index trading above the 26,000 mark. The Sensex index is also up over 100 points, moving up to 85,200.
Despite ending lower for the fourth day in a row, the Nifty bulls would go into today's session with some hope.
The Indian Rupee is once again amongst the headlines, as the currency fell to yet another low of 90.42 against the US dollar. As a result of this, the IT stocks and the Nifty IT are trading high, with top tech stocks, including TCS, Infosys and Wipro, on the rise.
For the Nifty Bank, 59,500 is an important level on the upside. The banking index is also in a volatile space, shuttling between negative and positive. The NIfty PSU Bank index, after slumping yesterday is trading flat today.
