Sensex Today | Stock Market LIVE Updates: The resistance has now turned into decline as the Nifty falls over 200 points, falling towards 23,000. The Nifty Bank index is also down, falling nearly 1000 points. Shriram Finance, Tata Motors PV, and Bajaj Finance are amongst the top laggards.

Sensex Today | Stock Market LIVE Updates: The Nifty is up over 800 points from Monday's low. Trading resumes today after Monday's holiday and things do not look optimistic as of now. Oil prices have not fallen despite US President Donald Trump extending his deadline on Iran attacks to April 6. Futures on Wall Street are up but cautiously. Indices there fell sharply overnight.
The US Dollar index is back near 100, yields there have risen too. On expected lines, the Nifty continues to find resistance at higher levels. 23,500 is an important level to cross, while on the downside, 23,000 remains a key support. Traders may want to remain light on positions, particularly after a two-day upmove and the upcoming weekend before another truncated week.
For the Nifty Bank, its a broad range between 53,000 - 54,000 as the index failed to defend the latter on Wednesday. Watch for stocks like RIL, Fino, Infosys, Azad Engineering, and of course, the oil sensitives.
