Sensex Today | Stock Market LIVE Updates: We are at the half-way mark, and the markets are trying their best despite resistance to recover from lows. The Indian markets are trading on a cautious note. The Nifty has given up its opening gains and is now trading around 24,350. The Nifty Bank is under pressure and is now below the 55,900 mark. Adani Ports, TCS and HUL are some of the biggest laggards.

Sensex Today | Stock Market LIVE Updates: It's past 12 at Dalal Street, and the markets remain largely where they started at the beginning of the day's trade.
The Indian markets are on a volatile path, as the indices are trading on a nervous note. The Nifty is trading around the 24,300 mark, with swings within a 30-point range. The Sensex is also under pressure, down about 100 points and is below the 77,900 mark.
The Nifty Bank is also on a similar terrain, with cuts of close to 70 points.
The Nifty is now at the upper end of the ongoing trading range of 23,800 to 24,300. The index is heading towards its next hurdle zone of 24,500. Experts believe that a decisive move above 24,500 could even take the index towards the 24,800 mark. Today is also the Sensex weekly expiry.
Earnings reactions continue swiftly with Bajaj Auto reacting to results and the buyback announcement.
While no Nifty names report today, major broader market names like Pidilite, Biocon, Bharat Forge, Dabur, Escorts Kubota, MRF, Sonata Software, and Thermax report numbers today.
