Sensex Today | Stock Market LIVE Updates: The Nifty 50 index has now seen four consecutive days of losses, and the index has declined nearly 450 points during this period. The bulls huffed and puffed their way to defending the 25,000 mark on Monday, and that 25,000 mark will be the key for the bulls to defend in today's session.

The template is slowly turning into a sell-on-rallies one, as every recovery on Monday was swiftly sold into. Today will also be the weekly expiry of the Sensex contracts. Results season also begins officially in the US from today, and the benchmark indices ended a range-bound session at the day's high on Monday, which could give the bulls some heart.

However, the US threat to impose up to 100% tariffs on those buying Russian goods in case a peace deal is not reached within the next 50 days could act as an overhang. Back home, earnings reactions continue to take centre stage, with HCLTech reacting to its margin guidance cut, while Tata Tech, Rallis India, and Tejas Networks also react to their respective results.

In some major results today, HDB Financial will be reporting its first result as a public company, along with stocks like HDFC Life, ICICI Prudential, ICICI Lombard, Bank of Maharashtra, General Insurance Corp and others.
