Stock Market Live Updates: Sensex Today | Stock Market LIVE Updates: Indian equities are trading lower today after US President Donald Trump, in the early hours of the day, announced sweeping reciprocal tariffs for as many as 60 countries, including India. In response, the US equity futures, led by the Dow Jones, sank as much as 1,100 points, while the S&P 500 and the Nasdaq futures fell 3.5% and 4.5% respectively. Today is also the weekly options expiry of the Nifty 50 contracts.
Stock Market Live Updates: Nifty 50 opened today's trade session 3,127.05 points below its record high of 26,277.35.
Both the Sensex and Nifty 50, along with the broader markets, have been fairly resilient last week amid the uncertainties and clawed back some of Tuesday's sell-off on Wednesday.
