Sensex Today | Stock Market LIVE Updates:The Indian markets opened in the red on Tuesday. The Nifty index opened at 24,864.05. The index opened 1,413.3 points behind its all-time high. The Sensex also opened low, starting the day's trade at 82,249.60, nearly 200 points behind its previous closing.

Nifty 50 ended the previous trade session 1,352.65 points away from its record high of 26,277.35.
The stoppage of military actions between India and Pakistan and the 'de-escalation of the US-China trade war' resulted in major gains for markets.
Overnight, Wall Street indices ended higher. The Dow Jones surged by 1,160.72 points, or 2.81%, and the S&P 500 was up 184.28 points, or 3.26%. and the tech-heavy Nasdaq gained 779.43 points, or 4.35%. Asian stocks,, too, were in the green in early trade today.
The US-China trade deal tweak has resulted in the US reducing the tariffs to 30% from their high of 145%. Similarly, China also reduced its tariffs on US goods to 10%. Both these tweaks are for 90 days.
Tata Steel, Paytm, KFin Technologies, Gensol Engineering, Allied Blenders, Aether Industries, Carborundum Universal, Raymond Lifestyle, CARE Ratings, Raymond, Thomas Cook, JM Financial, pharma stocks, Zaggle Prepaid, are among the stocks in focus today.
