Sensex Today | Stock Market LIVE Updates: The markets is on path to recovery after the rout as the NIfty surges with gains of nearly 300 points, rising close to 23,300. The Nifty Bank index is up close to 800 points, jumping to 54,200. Tata Steel, Tech Mahindra and SBI are the top gainers.

Sensex Today | Stock Market LIVE Updates: The Indian markets are back in form as the Nifty is up 250 points, rising towards the 23,300 mark. The Sensex index is up 800 points, jumping to the 75,000 mark.
This surge in the Friday session is crucial, as this comes after Nifty declined between 1% and 2% in each of the last three Fridays.
The Indian Rupee is under immense pressure, falling to the 93 mark for the first time against the US dollar. Meanwhile, the price of Brent Crude has dropped to $106 per barrel.
On the downside, the next support emerges at 22,800 - 22,700.
The shares of First Cry, GMDC, Happiest Minds, Lloyds Metal, Triveni Engineering, MRPL, BHEL are amongst the biggest gainers among the Nifty 500 stocks.
