Sensex Today | Stock Market LIVE Updates: The Indian markets are looking to close 2025 on a high, as the Nifty index is up over 220 points, moving around the 26,150 mark again. The Nifty Bank index is also on the rise, jumping over 550 points, as it moves closer to 60,000. JSW Steel, Tata Steel, Bharat Electronics, Titan, Shriram Fin and Jio Fin are among the major gainers.

Sensex Today | Stock Market LIVE Updates: The Nifty index is looking to make merry of the last session of 2025, as the index is trading higher with gains of around 120 points. The index is moving around the 26,000 mark again, having crossed that mark in early trade.
The Sensex is also trading on a similarly cautious note, with an uptick of 100 points, rising towards the 84,800 mark.
As for Nifty, the 50-stock index has managed to defend 25,900 on the downside, and that will be the first level to watch. 26,000 has plenty of interest from Call writers still, and crossing that may lead to a move back towards the 26,200 mark.
The Nifty Bank index is also trading with gains and is now looking to hit the 60,000 mark again. Even as the index looks ambitious, 59,500 remains a key hurdle on the upside. Today is the start of the January F&O series, where four stocks, Swiggy, Premier Energies, Waaree Energies and Bajaj Holdings, enter the F&O space, while four have exited.
