Earlier, ex-DCW chief Swati Maliwal alleged that Kejriwal was allotted a “luxurious 7-star government mansion" in Chandigarh, calling it a misuse of public resources.

The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) launched a fresh attack on former Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal, accusing him of using the resources of the Punjab government to build a sprawling 2-acre mansion in Chandigarh, dubbing it ‘Sheesh Mahal 2.0’.
The BJP attack came after former Delhi Commission for Women (DCW) chairperson Swati Maliwal had alleged that Kejriwal has been allotted a “luxurious 7-star government mansion" in Chandigarh’s Sector 2 under the Chief Minister’s quota.
“Sheesh Mahal 2.0. After getting a Rs 52 crore Sheesh Mahal built in Delhi, now Kejriwal will lounge in a 7-star government mansion spanning 2 acres in Chandigarh. The royal luxuries of Sir Ji, who puts on a drama of being an ordinary man in front of the public, show no signs of diminishing at all," said the BJP on X.
