Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Friday received the ‘Order of the Republic of Trinidad & Tobago’, the country's highest national award.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Friday received the ‘Order of the Republic of Trinidad & Tobago’, the country’s highest national award. PM Modi accepted it on behalf of 140 crore Indians and said it was a symbol of the “eternal and deep friendship" between the two countries.
“I express my heartfelt gratitude to you, your government, and the people for being honored with the highest national award, the ‘Order of the Republic of Trinidad & Tobago’," he said.
