A number of Tesla vehicles were set on fire in Las Vegas in the United States on Tuesday, according to the police.

CEO of the company Elon Musk reacted sharply to the incident taking place, terming it “insane and deeply wrong".

Musk said that Tesla is only involved in making electric cars and does not deserve “evil attacks".

“This level of violence is insane and deeply wrong. Tesla just makes electric cars and has done nothing to deserve these evil attacks," Musk posted on X, in response to a user who shared a video of the burning of the cars out in the open.

Elizabeth Helgelien, former Senator, posted the video of the incident taking place in her town and said that such incidents should stop immediately.

“Happening this morning in my town of Las Vegas, several Tesla vehicles engulfed in flames! This is horrific and evil, it must stop immediately!!!!" she wrote.
