Bihar Polls 2025: Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Monday launched a sharp attack on the RJD chief Lalu Prasad Yadav, accusing him of insulting Chhathi Maiya and being disconnected from the state’s traditions and faith.

While addressing a poll-bound rally in Katihar, PM Modi said, “The RJD ‘shahi parivar’ celebrates all international festivals, but when it comes to Chhath, they call it a drama. The Congress leader insulted Chhath Maiya, and the people of Bihar took out their anger on the RJD and made them lose. You have punished them once, and you will do it again."
