The new smartphone doubles up as a Mini PC and lets you run Windows 11 apps on an external monitor.

This is a phone that can truly mimic a dual-booted PC
For a long time people dreamt of having a Nokia phone on Android, which did happen. We also got the Windows Phone a while back, which now is part of people’s memories. But what if we tell you about a phone that not only runs Android and Linux but Windows 11 as well? Yes, meet NexPhone from a company called NexDeck which has unveiled this unique device with all the general smartphone hardware, including cameras.
You must have heard about PCs that run dual operating systems but NexDeck has gone a step ahead and made it possible to run three platforms on a mobile device. That might sound exciting to quite a few but does it really deliver on these claims and how much does it cost, here are the details.
NexPhone: The Three-In-One OS Phone
The main highlight of this phone is its compatibility with three platforms. The device comes with NexOS as the default option which lets you run Android 16 apps in desktop mode, or start using the Linux OS Debian version and finally you have the option to use Windows 11 on the NexPhone and convert into a full-fledged PC by connecting the device to an external monitor.
The Windows version UI running on the phone has been designed with the old Windows Phone platform in mind and it reminds you of the Nokia Lumia phones from yesteryears.
But how can this phone run three OSs? The company claims the hardware under the hood has been tuned to run desktop version of Android 16 as well as Linux OS and having 12GB
RAM with 256GB storage should have some weightage for its performance and reliability. It gets a 6.58-inch 120Hz display and packs a 5000mAh battery which supports 18W charging speed.
The biggest selling point is the ability to turn any monitor into a PC using the phone, and it is priced at $549 (Rs 49,400 approx) with around $199 (Rs 17,900 approx) to be paid for reserving the device and getting it first when it starts shipping later this year.
