US President Donald Trump on Sunday shared "great news" that he was appointing Conservative commentator and former US Secret Service Special Agent Daniel Bongino as the new Deputy Director of the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI).
"Great news for Law Enforcement and American Justice! Dan Bongino, a man of incredible love and passion for our Country, has just been named the next DEPUTY DIRECTOR OF THE FBI, by the man who will be the best ever Director, Kash Patel," Trump announced on his Truth Social platform.
50-year-old Bongino, who has a Masters degree in psychology from CUNY and has done an MBA from the Penn state, has previously worked with the New York Police Department (NYPD), Trump said in his long post.
