Republican leader and business executive Tudor Dixon signalled her interest in running for Governor of Michigan or for a seat in the US Senate. She further praised President Donald Trump's agenda for his second term in office.

Dixon announced her political ambitions on social media, though, she has not yet decided which race to enter. "Both races present unique opportunities and different ways to benefit Michigan," she said in a statement posted on X.

Tudor Dixon took an attack on the current Michigan Governor Gretchen Whitmer, claiming that she drove the "state into the bottom 10 nationally." Dixon emphasized that she would focus on job creation and manufacturing in her home state.

Tudor Dixon applauds President Trump for 'leading the way'

The Republican leader praised President Donald Trump, stating that he delivered on his election campaign promises, including securing the border and bringing manufacturing back into the US.

Dixon vowed to continue supporting Trump's efforts in Michigan. She added, "I am committed to standing with President Trump to deliver on the America First agenda here in Michigan."

Tudor Dixon plans to engage with voters in the coming weeks to strategize for her campaign. She concluded, "I will decide soon where my experience and talents would most benefit the state we love so dearly."

Dixon contested for Governor in 2022 with Trump's endorsement but lost to Whitmer by ten points. Gretchen Whitmer is currently serving her second term and, under Michigan state law, will be ineligible to run for re-election in 2026.
