Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said the revised plan includes 20 points but added that there is still no common ground on the most sensitive issue -- ceding Ukrainian territory.

Ukraine will share a revised peace plan to the United States on Tuesday as part of ongoing efforts to end Russia's war, President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said after talks in London with the leaders of France, Germany and Britain. The meeting, arranged at short notice, was aimed at strengthening Ukraine's negotiating position as the conflict approaches its fourth year.

Ukraine is under pressure from Washington to settle on a peace framework, but Kyiv wants changes to the US-backed draft, which many European officials believe tilts too far in Moscow's favour. Zelenskyy said the revised plan includes 20 points but added that there is still no common ground on the most sensitive issue -- ceding Ukrainian territory.

"The mood of the Americans, in principle, is for finding a compromise," Zelenskyy said. "Of course, there are complex issues related to the territory, and a compromise has not yet been found there."

He repeated that Ukraine cannot give up any of its land, a position he has maintained throughout the conflict.

EUROPE WORRIES ABOUT TERMS OF US CEASEFIRE PLAN

The meeting of UK Prime Minister Keir Starmer, French President Emmanuel Macron, German Chancellor Friedrich Merz and Zelenskyy also sought to secure clear US security guarantees to deter future Russian attacks. Russia launched its full-scale invasion of Ukraine in February 2022.

US negotiators last month circulated a ceasefire framework, prompting concern from European countries that Ukraine could be pushed into a settlement meeting many of Russia's demands.

"We stand with Ukraine and, if there was to be a ceasefire, it has to be a just and lasting ceasefire," Starmer said after welcoming the leaders to Downing Street.

Macron and Merz also stressed the need for a firm and united stance. Merz described the moment as "decisive for all of us."

According to news agency Reuters, the London discussions focused on how to use the value of Russian assets frozen across Europe. Leaders from seven EU countries -- Estonia, Finland, Ireland, Latvia, Lithuania, Poland and Sweden -- have urged the bloc to move quickly on a stalled proposal to channel those assets into funding for Ukraine.

ZELENSKYY ISN'T READY TO ACCEPT PEACE PLAN: TRUMP

Earlier on Sunday, Donald Trump said he was "a little bit disappointed" that Zelenskyy has not yet read the proposal yet.

"I'm a little bit disappointed that President Zelenskyy hasn't yet read the proposal, that was as of a few hours ago. His people love it, but he hasn't," Trump said.

"Russia is, I believe, fine with it, but I'm not sure that Zelenskyy's fine with it. His people love it."

Trump said Zelenskyy "isn't ready" to move ahead, even after American and Ukrainian negotiators wrapped up three days of detailed talks in Florida.

However, Russian President Vladimir Putin has not officially endorsed the the proposal. Last week, he said several aspects of the plan were unworkable, even though the first draft had been seen as favourable to Moscow.
