US Stock Market Live: Futures on Wall Street trimmed early losses on Sunday evening local time, even as the US attacked three Iranian nuclear facilities over the weekend, announcing their involvement in the hostilities that the Islamic nation has been engaged in with Israel over nearly two weeks. Brent crude tested levels of $81 per barrel, although it could not sustain at those levels. Gold prices too have not seen significant gains despite the escalation. US Stock Market Live: Futures on Wall Street trimmed early losses on Sunday evening local time, even as the US attacked three Iranian nuclear facilities over the weekend, announcing their involvement in the hostilities that the Islamic nation has been engaged in with Israel over nearly two weeks. The Dow futures were down 350 points at the start of trading in the futures market, but are now down just over 100 points, the S&P 500 futures trade below the flat line, while the Nasdaq futures are also down close to 100 points. Iran has warned of consequences to the attacks by the US. State media reported that the country's parliament has approved closure of the Strait of Hormuz, although the final approval lies with the Security Council. Brent crude tested levels of $81 per barrel, although it could not sustain at those levels. Gold prices too have not seen significant gains despite the escalation. The Trump Administration officials have indicated that there are no further operations planned in Iran as of now, unless the latter retaliates. Watch this space for more live updates.
