Contradictions from Donald Trump continued with him reiterating that he has no plans on reducing tariffs on China, after mentioning last week that tariffs on China are too high. He also said that Chinese President Xi Jinping called him but shared no further details, even as China continues to maintain that no talks have taken place. Chinese administration has reiterated its vow to support the economy and jobs amidst the Trump tariffs.
