US Stock Market Live Updates: Wall Street futures are trading little changed at this hour in the premarket session on Thursday (July 17). Dow Jones futures are trading 0.14% lower while S&P futures are trading near flatline. Nasdaq futures are trading 0.15% higher.

On Wednesday, the Wall Street indices seesawed after a White House official told CNBC that President Donald Trump was edging closer to firing Federal Reserve Chair Jerome Powell. The President, however, later denied the reports. The S&P 500 ended the session up 0.3%, while the Nasdaq Composite rose 0.2% after earlier falling 0.83%. The Dow Jones Industrial Average closed 231 points, or 0.48%, higher after briefly slipping by 264 points, or 0.6%.
